Description

Six outlets covers a lot of jobs. But once the rig grows — amplifiers, signal processors, lighting controllers, patch equipment — you run out fast. Running two 6-way PDUs means two power leads, two indicator lights to check, and twice the rack clutter. There's a simpler way.

The Titan AV 12 Way PDU puts 12 x 240V outlets in 2RU of rack space, with overload protection across the board. If the draw exceeds 10 Amp, the unit trips before your equipment does. One power lead. One power indicator light. Twelve connections, cleanly managed.

The housing is powder-coated aluminium — solid enough for a touring road case, tidy enough for a permanent install. At 1.3kg it won't throw your rack weight out, and the standard 2RU 19" form factor fits any rack or cabinet running standard rail spacing.

Key Features:

  • 2RU 19" rack mount design
  • 12 x 240V 3-pin outlets
  • Built-in overload protection
  • 10 Amp current rating
  • Power indicator light
  • 1.8m power cord included
  • Black powder-coated aluminium housing
  • Ships with rack nuts and bolts
  • 12-month warranty

Ideal For:

  • AV and IT racks needing a 12 port PDU in a single unit
  • Studio, broadcast, and server setups powering larger equipment spreads
  • Touring rigs where a single power source for the full rig is the priority
  • Installs where two 6-way PDUs would otherwise be needed
  • Anyone stepping up from a 6 or 8 outlet setup

Whether you're building a server room, wiring a studio, or putting together a touring rack that needs to power a full rig from a single source, the 12 Way PDU handles it without making a mess of the bay.

FAQs

What's the difference between the 6 Way and 12 Way PDU?

The 6 Way PDU is 1RU and gives you 6 x 240V outlets. The 12 Way PDU is 2RU and doubles the outlet count to 12. If your rack has limited space or your setup only needs 6 connections, the 6 Way is the cleaner choice. If you're powering a larger rig, the 12 Way gives you more room to grow.

Does it have surge protection?

It has overload protection, not surge protection. Overload protection trips the unit if the current draw exceeds 10 Amp, preventing damage to the connected equipment. If you also need surge protection, pair it with a surge-protected upstream power connection.

Will it fit in my road case or rack cabinet?

Yes, it's a standard 1RU 19" form factor and fits any rack with standard 19" rails. It ships with rack nuts and bolts included.

I only need 6 outlets — should I still consider this?

If 6 outlets genuinely covers your current setup, the 1RU 6 Way PDU is the tidier choice and saves a rack unit. But if your rig is growing, starting with the 12 Way PDU means you won't need to swap it out later.
