300gsm (grams per square meter) refers to the fabric's weight and thickness. The higher the GSM, the heavier and more durable the material. 300gsm drapes provide a balance of thickness, durability, and flexibility, making them ideal for stage backdrops, event curtains, and theatre productions.

GSM (grams per square metre) measures the weight and density of a fabric — and in simple terms, it tells you how light or heavy a material will feel.

To help put that into perspective, here are some common comparisons:

• 150–180gsm (T-Shirts) – Light, breathable, and easy to move
• 300gsm (Medium-weight fabric) – Noticeably heavier with better coverage, similar to light canvas or thicker tablecloths
• 800gsm (Heavyweight fabric) – Dense and substantial, similar to blockout curtains or heavy upholstery, with a fuller, more premium drape
