People also ask

What’s the difference between recessed and surface-mount handles?

Recessed handles sit flush inside the case wall, so they don’t snag or protrude—great for pack-down and stacking. Surface-mount handles are easier to install or replace but stick out slightly.

Are spring-loaded handles worth it?

Yes—spring-back handles snap back into place automatically. They reduce rattle, wear, and potential damage during transport.

What’s the benefit of the rubber sleeve grip?

It improves comfort and grip—especially during long hauls, sweaty gigs, or heavy loads. It also helps reduce hand fatigue.

Is the black recessed handle any different from the zinc version?

Structurally, they’re identical. The only difference is the black powder-coated finish—great for stealth or DJ case builds.

Can I use these on speaker boxes or cabs?

Absolutely! All our handles are rated for AV gear, speakers, packers, and road cases—pro or DIY.

Do these handles include mounting hardware?

The strap handle includes screws and end caps. All others are designed for riveting to ensure a long-lasting, secure fit. We recommend pairing them with our Rivets & Washers collection.
